The 5 bedrooms are subtly decorated with a different theme and feature with a contemporary flavor and using a palette of green olive, lavender blue, sea turquoise and sand tones to reflect the beauty of Provence. Spread among the two floors all rooms have balconies and terraces with breathtaking views of the garden, the forest and the pool.

The air conditioning is throughout the house and can be adjusted individually for your own comfort. The beds have been carefully selected with premium mattress.There are also USB port in each double rooms and on the kitchen isle.

The bathrooms have either walk-in showers or a large bathtub, with the added amenity of Le Petit Marseillais.

We like: the Japandi interior design a fusion of minimalistic design and natural colors, clean lines in contrast with well-curated furnishings and the lavender blue of the art piece representing Valensole lavender field and the milky way matching with the velvet bed of the same color.

Master double bedroom located on the ground floor featuring:

A king size bed (160cm) with a premium mattress,

View of the forest and direct access to the pool,

We like: the lounge chair in cashmere by Ferm Living against the exotic wall paper where you can sit and read in front of your window away from the other guests.

Disabled access: the walk-in shower entrance is 70cm wide. The doors on the ground floors are 73cm wide. Please contact us to receive the floor plan or any information about the access in wheelchair.

Calanques double room

Double room on the first floor featuring:

A king size bed (160cm wide) with the option to add an extra single bed for a child or a baby cot to make it a family room,

Double exposure with a balcony and a terrace facing the forest, overlooking the Petanque field and the pool with lounger chairs,

The bathroom is next door featuring a bathtub, sink and toilets.

We like: the turquoise sea color that reminds us the beauty of the coves in Marseille and Cassis that contrast with the pearl grey of the design bed. The room is ideal for those seaking for quiet moment in the shade while the little one is napping (the terrace is also great for a yoga or pilates class).

Double room located on the first floor featuring:

We like: the ethnic interior design of this bedroom inspired by artcrafts from Africa and Tulum and its corner office that allows you to quietly check your emails before jumping in the pool.

FAQ: Planning Your Stay in Our Provence Villa

Is the villa close to Aix-en-Provence?

Villa La Calista is located 2-minute drive from the nearest (and best) food shops and the town of Le Tholonet. Despite being in surrounded by nature, our beautiful villa is only 5-minute drive from La Rotonde car park in the city center of Aix-en-Provence.

Is it a peaceful and quiet environment?

La Calista is close to shops of La Rotonde and the busy Cours Mirabeau in Aix-en-Provence, the house is located in a private gated domain nestled on top of a hill. If you are after a calm and restorative holiday, with the advantage of being close to an attractive city La Calista is the perfect villa to rent in the heart of Provence.

Is the pool for private us only?

Villa La Calista is a holiday home to rent and all its facilities are exclusively for the use of its staying guests. Among the longest pool in Provence available to rent with its 16m long (52,5 feet long), it is also one of the prettiest with its Balinese vibe. The property is spread on 2,5 acres including two-part gated garden.

Are pets accepted?

Dogs are allowed at the villa as long as they are toilet trained. Please make sure they are not climbing on any soft furniture such as sofa or loungers. We will provide a comfy bed to welcome your pet.

Is the pool heated?

Our pool is heated from May to October.

Is there a BBQ at the house?

The villa has an outdoor kitchen with a sink and a charcoal barbecue, a must in Provence. We also provide a Looflighter, an electric dryer to point to the charcoal for 5 minutes and soon it will start the fire.

Is there a washing machine in the villa?

The house has a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer available to guests during their stay. Please note that bedding and towels are provided for each guest too.

Can you accommodate a group of 10 persons in your modern villa?

The villa has 4 double rooms including 3 with its en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closet. The 4^th bedroom, Calanques Room, is the largest and can accommodate an extra bed or a baby cot. And the 5^th bedroom can accommodate 3 children or 2 adults. The villa can welcome 10 persons although we recommend a maximum of 8 adults and 2 children for an optimal occupancy.
